Hello backers,
I wanted to let you know that the funding from the project arrived yesterday. I've got the reward surveys finalized, and I should have them out today or tomorrow. Please be on the lookout for an email from a company called BackerKit, it will have the link to your reward survey. I use BackerKit for reward surveys because it takes all the grunt work out of fulfillment, and you get your reward a lot sooner. This is how I'll get your shipping address, so please take a moment to fill it out. I also have an assortment of add-ons available for purchase in the survey. These are all items from my past Kickstarter campaigns.
This is easily the most complicated reward survey I've done to date, so please don't hesitate to let me know if something doesn't seem quite right or if you have any questions.
I'll be working on procuring all of the components today, and I'm going to put in the order to the PCB factory. I'll send out another update with pictures when everything arrives. It should be an impressive pile of PCB's, LED's, IC's and resistors!

The campaign is over, Here's what will happen next.

Hello backers,
Thank you all so much for your support! This campaign is another record for me. The campaign is over so I wanted to let you know what will happen next.
- Kickstarter will be charging your credit cards in the next few hours. Kickstarter will keep all the funds collected for about 2 weeks. After this two weeks has passed and I have received the funding, then I'll imminently place the orders for the components, and the PCB's. I've got everything lined up and ready to order. I'm excited to report that as of right now, I still don't foresee any difficulties procuring each of the 104 components!
- Reward surveys will be out in about 1-2 weeks. I'll send out another update when the reward survey is out. I use BackerKit, a third party service for reward surveys. It allows me to effortlessly print postage directly from your reward survey, so you get exactly what you wanted much faster. I'll also have my PCB art, and PCB rulers from my past Kickstarter campaigns available as add on items in the survey.
- Those are the business items I wanted to share. As for the actual clock, someone pointed out to me that there's only one LED per digit lit at the same time, so there's really no need to give each LED it's own resistor. So, I eliminated the 6 resistor networks, and replaced them each with a 3K 1/4w resistor. This saves a little bit of soldering. I ordered one last batch of prototype boards, and I assembled one clock last week just to make sure everything is perfect. I've also had a few friends and backers of past campaigns assemble clocks, and all of them successfully got it assembled and working.

Hello backers,
We're almost to the finish line! Now that we're nearing the end of the campaign, I wanted to offer one of my 6" PCB rulers to anyone who would be willing to help get the word out about the campaign.
If you'll post on Twitter about the campaign, I'll give you one of my 6" Raspberry Pi PCB rulers with your reward. Just Post your tweet, then send me a message or a comment with your twitter handle so I know who you are. I'll give you a credit so you can choose the ruler that you like in the reward survey.
